St. Vincent Service Ministry

Serve those who know the experience of being poor and needy!

At St. Francis Parish, our St. Vincent de Paul Service ministry organizes service projects that live out the Corporal Works of Mercy. The Corporal Works of Mercy are found in the teachings of Jesus and give us a model for how we should treat others, as if they were Christ in disguise. They “are charitable actions by which we help our neighbors in their bodily needs” (U.S. Catholic Catechism For Adults). These projects respond to the basic needs of humanity as we journey together through this life. See below for upcoming service opportunities at St. Francis of Assisi!

Come join us! Our St. Vincent Service Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month. See the bulletin or parish calendar for meeting times!
