Food Drives
Share a meal with those in need!
Donate some groceries or serve a meal to those who are hungry in our community! There are many service opportunities available throughout the year to help feed the hungry. Check the St. Vincent Service Ministry page for more ways to volunteer!
Weekly Pantry
Non-perishable food items are collected at every weekend Mass throughout the year! Groceries can be placed in the basket in front of the altar during the collection at Mass, or in the wooden box near the main entrance of the Church.
Our weekly grocery donations are delivered to:
- Northside Community Center in Ann Arbor, which feeds over 500 families each month
- Hope Clinic in Ypsilanti, which feeds over 50 families every week
Thank you for your generous support!
Food Drives
In addition to our weekly grocery collections, St. Francis organizes three major food drives throughout the year to support local food pantries and members of our community.
Grocery bags and shopping lists are distributed after Mass the weekend before the drive. During the week, please fill your bag with items from the list and return them to St. Francis the following weekend!
- March Food Drive: Our Lenten food drive, benefitting Northside Community Center and Hope Clinic.
- June Food Drive: benefits the Detroit pantry program and youth program organized by our sister parish, Corpus Christi in Detroit.
- November Food Drive: Provides local food pantries with groceries for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The Delonis Center
RegisterHelp provide meals for the hungry with Food Gatherers' Community Kitchen, located in the Delonis Center, 312 W. Huron, Ann Arbor.
A crew from St. Francis Parish serves every third Friday evening of the month. To serve supper for the hungry, eight volunteers are needed for each meal.

Help Deliver Food
Volunteers are needed for pick-up groceries and deliver them to the food pantries, or as a substitute. It just requires a car and about an hour of time on a Monday or a Tuesday once a month.
