Become a Homebound Minister
Is God calling you to bring Christ in the Eucharist to those unable to join us for Sunday Mass? Our Homebound Ministry Team brings Holy Communion to members of our parish who are unable to attend Mass, as well as visit individuals in their homes or in facilities where they are receiving medical care.
While our typical homebound members are St. Francis senior parishioners, our homebound visits also include those with physical challenges, those who are ill, or persons in rehabilitation. The Homebound Ministers go in person to visit, and may also make phone calls for prayer & Spiritual Communion, and conduct Communion services at residential care and rehabilitation facilities. The Homebound Ministry is committed to serving our extended community.

Become a Homebound Minister
Homebound Ministers receive initial training and ongoing support as they perform this important and rewarding service to others. Some ministers visit the individual homes of homebound St. Francis Parishioners, while some visit the facilities where there are Catholics from a variety of parishes.
Candidates must have received all the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation).

Join the Regional Eucharistic Ministry Team
The Regional Eucharistic Ministry Team brings Jesus in the Eucharist to those who are isolated in care and correctional facilities. This team consists of members from parishes across the Diocese of Lansing.
First, Please ask the parish office to send a Letter of Good Standing stating that you are an active Catholic member of the parish trained to distribute Eucharist. The letter may be emailed to swright@stfrancisa2.org, or, mailed to:
