Stewardship

When we commit to return a portion of our blessings back to God, we express the importance of our faith, as well as our joy of having received and our ability to give. Contributions to Saint Francis of Assisi Parish help with the good works of Christ that we are doing for our parishioners and greater community.

  • Sunday Offering through ParishSoft Giving or Donation Envelopes

Please consider making your Sunday offering electronically through ParishSoft Giving (PSG), which is Saint Francis’ online giving portal. PSG accepts credit cards as well as ACH withdrawals directly from a bank account. The portal gives you more control, flexibility, and security in your electronic donations to Saint Francis.

If you choose to use the traditional donation envelopes, they can be requested from the Parish Office and will be mailed to your home every two months. Please email parishoffice@stfrancisa2.org to order or manage your donation envelopes. Thank you for your consistent and generous support of your Parish!

For questions regarding stewardship, please reach out to our parish Business Office at bizoff@stfrancisa2.org.

  • Stewardship for Saints & Scholars

Stewardship for Saints & Scholars is a capital campaign led by Bishop Boyea to promote authentic Catholic education in the Diocese of Lansing. The goals of this campaign are to make Catholic education:

    • On Mission – to hire, form, and retain teachers and educators who are in love with Christ and His mission.
    • Affordable – to increase availability of tuition assistance for new and returning families.
    • Accessible – to expand programs and resources for students with special needs, so that all children can receive a Catholic education.
    • Local Initiatives – to build up our local parishes, schools, homeschool programs, religious education programs, and faith formation.

Here at St. Francis we have decided to stretch our goal in order to grow our educational and youth ministries by planning a modest extension that will give us necessary additional classroom space to meet a growing demand and allow us to add a long-desired multifunctional youth room to our campus. While our parish share of the diocesan campaign goal is $2.65 million, with this stretch goal we hope to raise an additional $2.1 million – making a total goal of $4.75 million.

  • Donations & Almsgiving

When we share gifts or charity with those in need, we’re acknowledging the fact that we’re not in this alone, that the things that we own are meant for others.

St. Francis Parish often takes up special collections for various Catholic charities and ministries, particulaly during Lent. Please check the bulletin for these special opportunities to give alms!
