Faith Formation Classes for Children (PreK–8th Grade)
At St. Francis Parish, we are committed to helping children grow as disciples of Jesus through engaging and age-appropriate faith formation classes. Open to children in PreK through 8th grade, our program nurtures a love for God, teaches the truths of the Catholic faith, and prepares children to receive the sacraments in the heart of our parish community.
Class Times:
Sundays at 9:30 AM
Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
Sábados a las 5:00 PM (en español)

Sacramental Preparation
First Eucharist (First Communion): Preparation begins in Grade 2. Completion of Grade 1 Religious Education (or its equivalent) is required before entering the Grade 2 preparation program. Older children preparing for First Eucharist should contact the Religious Education Office for placement.
Confirmation: Preparation begins in Grades 6 and 7, with the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation in the spring of Grade 8. High school students seeking Confirmation should contact the Religious Education Office for placement.

Sunday Classes
Meet & Greet: September 27, 9:30–10:30 a.m. Classes Begin: October 4 (Feast of St. Francis of Assisi), 9:30–10:30 a.m.
PreK–K / Catechesis of the Good Shepherd: 9:40–11:30 a.m. on the same Sundays.
Wednesday Classes
Meet & Greet: September 30, 6:30–7:30 p.m. Classes Begin: October 7, 6:30–7:30 p.m.
Saturday Bilingual (English & Spanish) Classes
Meet & Greet: September 19, 6:00–7:00 p.m. Classes Begin: October 3, 5:00–6:45 p.m.
Meet & Greet: Stop by anytime during your scheduled Meet & Greet hour to meet your child's catechist and receive books, calendars, and other class information.
